Setup Schedule: Evaluate

You use the Evaluate tab to assess the material class quantities and the qualities of mining locations. You can also use the Evaluate tab to check that you have setup your locations correctly before scheduling, and use the evaluation information to set reasonable quality and material ratio targets.

The Locations pane lists all of the locations contained in the scenario.

The Charts and Reports tabs display information on volume, mass, and qualities.

Charts display cumulative values for all locations that are selected in the Locations pane. They display a summary of volume, mass, average qualities, aggregate qualities, and user calculations, separated by material class. You control the chart colours by selecting material class colours in the Models tab.

The number of charts varies depending on the number of qualities and calculations. You can change the number of charts displayed per row by selecting the one, two, three, or four charts per row options at the top of the Charts tab.

Reports display data for the locations individually. Reports display mass, volume, qualities, and calculations data broken down by material class and then by elevation or polygon group. You can group reports by any column. To group reports by column, drag the column header into the space indicated at the top of the Report tab.

Three buttons are available below the Locations pane:

  • Update selected: Processes the location or locations that are highlighted in the Locations pane and displays the updated information in the Charts and Reports tabs.
  • Update all locations: Processes all locations for the scenario and displays the updated information in the Charts and Reports tabs.
  • Check for errors: Checks on the scheduling parameters for the scenario.
  • Note: GEOVIA MineSched cannot check the validity of all parameters. A parameter can be given a value that is valid for the parameter but that is not applicable to the scenario. MineSched cannot identify these errors. In addition, some parameters cannot be validated until the schedule is run.
